What this site is
Nippon Sales is a small guide to products made in Japan, run from Tokyo. It exists to help gift shoppers and fans of Japanese craft find items that really are made in Japan.
How I check
For each item I open the product's own Amazon listing and look for a statement that it is made in Japan, such as "Made in Japan" or "Country of Manufacture: Japan". The card shows that line. For Grand Seiko, the maker builds all of its watches in Japan, and the card says so. If a listing does not say Japan and the maker also builds that product elsewhere, I leave it off. Checks were done on October 5, 2026. Sellers can change listings, so please confirm on the Amazon page before you buy.
